Because doing so would cripple the company's ability to compete, leaving Shaw and Bell to pick the Telus/TWU carcass clean.

PS: If you don't see how that would happen, then there is a reason you are an employee and not part of the ELT.

ash. that says nothing about the bargaining process. They both have to bargain.

I think alot of the ELT realize if this happens...there will be a much smaller ELT.
